Analytical Investigation into the Rotational Performance of Glulam Bolted Beam-Column Connections under Coupled Bending Moment and Shear Force

Considering the glulam beam-column connection form and number of bolts, monotonic loading test finite element analysis was carried out on 9 specimens in 3 groups to study rotational performance failure mode connection. The results revealed that compared with U-shaped connectors, T-shaped connectors can effectively improve ductility connections, increase bolts reduce initial stiffness connections. By theoretical analysis, formulas for calculating ultimate moment connections were deduced. Subsequently, moment-rotation model established based formulas, which validated according data simulation results. proposed not only current system heavy-duty structure but also provide a basis mechanical properties
